Morarji Desai

Prohibition was introduced in Gujarat in deference to Mahatma Gandhi. Desai, known for his urine therapy, was also a great votary of prohibition and now Modi will not lift it. Reason: Contrary to popular perception, it has support at the grassroots in Gujarat.
