Rs 100 crore

The Union Budget is normally associated with huge sums and one expects to read and hear about lakhs of crores — not lakhs and crores — when it comes to allocation of funds for different schemes. But finance minister Arun Jaitley's Budget has been different. It seems Jaitley has a penchant for the Rs 100 crore figure. In his speech, the finance minister announced as many as 29 schemes which have been granted Rs 100 crore each.

Here is a list of Rs 100 crore schemes:

15. National Industrial Corridor Authority
16. Ultra Modern Super Critical Coal Based Thermal Power Technology
17. 1 MW Solar Parks
18. National War Memorial
19. Technology Development Fund
